I wanted rate this 5 stars across the board, but MacUpdate will not let you post a review unless you post a least ONE thing you dislike, and there's nothing I don't dislike about this program which is kind of an idiotic requirement. So I like everything about this program. It's one of the first apps I install when getting a new Mac.

Nice app, but for some reason when I restart my computer the Application Wizard opens every app I have (and I have a lot)... huge pain in the ass! It also does it when I switch the off/on slider to on. What gives? Useless, unless this is addressed. If anyone has an answer I'd love to hear it.

I have been using Application Wizard for only a few days but am already quite impressed. I have tried a few alternatives to the dock provided with MacOS and have found that Application Wizard does the best job of fitting my needs. I like the ability to put the apps I utilize most in folders where I can easily access them. The critical feature for me is the ability to populate those folders with my choice of applications, and in the order I choose. I tend to have "go-to" applications of a given type, but also have others of that type that I only use occasionally. Application Wizard's folders let me list ALL apps of a given type in my order priority or frequency of use, so I don't forget about infrequently used apps. While there are more features of the app I have yet to explore I have already made the purchase.

A terrific little utility which has made updating/upgrading to Catalina a pleasure. Catalina killed my last application launcher, which I'd probably hung on to for too long anyway, but the Application Wizard gave me all sorts of options for accessing and launching apps which I hadn't considered until I installed it. This is another utility that's gone into my 'indispensable list' .... Massive kudos to the developer who seems to have an innate understanding of how users actually work.
Without it Catalina imposed so many constraints I was seriously thinking of junking it and going back to Mojave ... with it I'm finally reasonably happy with Catalina.
